21 km. from Bansko and 18 km. from Razlog, conveniently situated at the foothills of Rila Mountain and overlooking the amazingly beautiful peaks of the Pirin Mountain, one of the most interesting and beautiful villages - Dobarsko.

If you are on vacation in Bansko and you haven’t yet visited some of the houses of the National Revival period, you have missed a lot. We are telling you this because here and only here, you can get familiar with the unique architecture of the fortified houses in Bansko.

It is located in the "Kalyata" area, only about 5 km. southwest of the resort town, Sitan Kale is one of the largest fortresses in the area that have been discovered in this region.

Bansko really does not stop surprising us. With its variety of natural and historical sites of national importance, this mountain town has plenty to offer to everyone and will not bore you while you are there.

Only a few kilometers away from the town of Melnik and in the immediate vicinity of the famous Melnik Pyramids, is located one of the oldest medieval monasteries in the Pirin Mountain - the Rozhen monastery “Holy Virgin Birth”.

High, high in the Rila Mountain, where the forest touches the sky and the prayers to God have the greatest power, is the Rila Monastery.

The Holy Virgin Church or the Assumption was built during the second half of the 18th century so that we can enjoy it today, and, until the Holy Trinity Church was built, it had played a part of a parish church for the local population.
