Ekaterina Vassileva is a certified mindfulness and yoga teacher, author, creative soul, and traveler at heart, inspired to create spaces for inner silence, self-exploration, and deep connection with oneself.
She holds degrees in pedagogy and psychology and has also completed a course for sports instructors at the National Sports Academy in Bulgaria. Since 2021, she has been organizing and leading holistic retreats in nature, creative workshops, and meditation courses.
Ekaterina is the author and illustrator of the travel memoir “From Roots to Sky: Getting Lost and Found in India and Nepal”. She has been practicing yoga since her teenage years and, following a profound personal transformation, discovered meditation in 2018 at the foothills of the Himalayas. She completed a two-year training program to become a mindfulness meditation instructor with The Awareness Training Institute and the Greater Good Science Center, supported by the University of California, Berkeley. Her personal mentor is Dr. Susan Stone—a Theravāda Buddhist nun—who continues to guide her to this day.
In 2024, Ekaterina completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (200 YTT) certification at the World Peace Yoga School in Rishikesh, India.
