Excelent hotel

The hotel staff really put in the extra effort to help you relax and escape. On arrival we were greeted warmly and the receptionist explained us all that we can use in the hotel and give us very useful information.
The room was excellent. We stayed in Studio Lux on the 4th floor and we had good view to the mountain, which was really nice. The rooms were extremely clean and well-serviced.
Dinner itself deserves a note, because it was really delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really cozy. I recommend also grabbing a drink at the lobby bar before or after dinner.
The spa amenities are really nice. After a long day in the mountain you can soak in the warm indoor pool. There are also sauna and steam bath, massages and cosmetic services are also available. 
Overall: really pleasant experience. Prices are a little high, but it's a good value when you take into account the hospitality, good location, high-quality breakfast/dinner, and other details.

“Best hotel I have ever stayed in!”

I have just returned from a weeks skiing trip and stayed at Lucky Bansko.The room was lovely, very spacious with a comfy bed, seating area, kitchenette and a lovely bathroom with a shower and bath- perfect after a long day skiing. The rooms were cleaned twice a day if you wanted and chocolates were left every day which was a lovely touch. Hotel was warm and comfortable with a pleasant seating area in the bar. Restaurant also very spacious with a brilliant selection of foods at breakfast and dinner- all buffet style. All staff were always attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel runs a shuttle bus service from 8.00am until 5.00pm to the ski area every half an hour which was never late. It also offers a service in the evening from 7.00pm into the resort- a brilliant touch as the hotel is quite far out (5 minutes drive and 10lev in a taxi) The spa area was brilliant with a beautiful pool including a Jacuzzi and hydro jets to massage aching legs. I had a massage whilst there and staff were brilliant. 
The only thing I would say about Bansko as a resort is there is only 1 gondola up the mountain which gets very busy- we qued for over an hour. If you get up early and get the 8.00am shuttle from the hotel and get the first lift up there was no que and you can be skiing by 9.00. If your a later riser I would recommend waiting until at least 1.00pm when the que has gone.

Excellent hotel on the edge of Bansko

We stayed here for a week while skiing in January. Very clean rooms, staff are friendly, excellent customer service, with an evening turn down service which was unexpected. The spa is very good, with a heated pool, sauna and great value treatments. A regular and punctual mini bus service to the Gondola station meant the distance from town wasn't an issue. The restaurant in the evening served excellent food, was quiet and reasonably priced. We stayed on the top floor and found the room very warm,and had to open the window in the middle of winter to try and cool it down.

“Lucky Bansko” find the highest standard of luxury

Staying at the Lucky Bansko means finding the highest standard of luxury, cleanliness and special treatment to the client. Entering the hotel and meeting hotel staff and receptionists is being understood that the five-star standard is at the highest level.

Everywhere it surrounded by luxury and incredible cleanliness, but in a hotel highest luxury are the people who work in it and their attitude towards the customer, which in Lucky Bansko to me and my family are much more than 5 stars.

Couldn’t recommend it more – first ski holiday as a couple!

We couldn't believe how good this hotel was to say we got it fairly cheap through thomson ski!

The hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is very clean. The rooms are turned down twice a day, with a small balcony outside, tv (only a few english channels) and aircon. The bathroom has a towel radiator, bath robes and slippers – handy for the spa and l'occataine mini toiletries. 

The hotel also runs a shuttle every half hour to and from the hotel to the gondola/town centre, which are always on time! 

The breakfast is also very good, orange juice, grapefruit juice and water constantly available, along with milk, coffee and a variety of twinning tea's, there are also 3 stations of food:
1 – a variety of cheese's, cold cooked meat's, tomato's, celery etc
2 – yoghurt, peaches, jam, honey, nuts and dried fruit, brioche and cakes, banana's drizzled in chocolate, white and whole meal breads good for toasting.
3 – ham/bacon, variety of sausages, fried eggs, scrambled eggs and hard boiled, beans, fried bread. ( after talking to other skiers on the gondola, who stayed in neighbouring hotels our breakfast sounded much better)

The spa is also extremely worth the money paid for the hotel – sauna, steam bath's and pool/with jacuzzi access all free, and fairly priced spa treatments all met by lovely staff who will provide you with towels for your visit open 9-8

The hotel also has a free wifi and free access to computers, popular with kids, and also there is free childcare available in the crèche/kids centre with disco's and themes nights which seemed to be rather popular! Also a billiard room with bar open to 2am 

In general, I couldn't recommend this hotel further, my partner and I really enjoyed our first skiing holiday in Bansko and despite the longer transfer from the airport than other ski resorts, after speaking to instructors and other travellers, bansko has the best guarantees snow due to the snow canons! Brilliant location and facilities!

A place to remember!

We had good time in Lucky Bansko. Our room was very clean .The staff and the hotel people were wery good organized. Delicious food with huge variety of dishes. Extremely clean pool and saunas. The whole Lucky Bansko experience was great. This hotel is making the difference in Bulgaria!

Recommend It

Stayed here with a big group last week. Everyone really enjoyed their stay. The hotel is immaculate and the staff were very friendly. The hotel has shuttle buses running in the morning and the evening which is a massive help. I was only expecting 1 in the morning however they run every half hour. Only a 5 minute drive to Ski Bansko. Breakfast was included which was also very nice. Lots of choice. As we had an early flight the day we were leaving the hotel even made us snacks to take with us. 

Used the Spa a few times. Sauna, Steam rooms and Pool/Jacuzzi. All clean and relaxing. Sky Sports 1 in the bar and the room which is always a bonus. Only thing I would say is that this hotel is boiling all the time. That’s with and without clothes. We had to set the aircon on cool all the time just so that it was bearable. One night while we were out the cleaner turned the aircon off and the radiator up which was very annoying. 

Other than that though really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Lucky Bansko

Still Excellent. We visited the hotel probably 3-4 years, ago when was just opened. Recently we visited it again. Still super. Now its even bigger. Same as the last time we booked apartment..The quality of the apartment is ok, nothing spectacular…We booked HB and on the first night the hotel was not that full so they prepared the dinner that we ordered from the menu fresh( not a buffet)..The quality of the food is outstanding for Bulgarian standards. Also the service from this hotel is of the highest level. I was pleasantly surprised. The spa and the pool are very good, too. Maybe the pool is little small, but its very hot which I really liked( probably the hottest hotel pool in Bansko). 
Overall the hotel keeps very good level of service on everything which is not common in Bulgaria, so well done for that.
I will visit, again for sure.
