About the Artist

Venko Madolev graduated in Graphic Arts under Prof. Galiley Simeonov at the National Academy of Arts “Nikolay Pavlovich” in Sofia in 1986. He has actively participated in exhibitions organized by the Union of Bulgarian Artists and has held more than 30 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad.

His works have been exhibited in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Kozloduy, and many other cities. His exhibitions have also enjoyed notable success in Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava, Prague, Berlin, Athens, Paris, Mexico City, and Delhi.

The artist has received awards at international biennials, while his works are owned by public organizations, state and municipal institutions. His paintings are featured in prestigious galleries and private collections in Bulgaria and around the world.

The exhibition is an invitation to experience art beyond the literal—a moment of contemplation, inspiration, and escape from the pace of everyday life. Guests will enjoy a unique artistic perspective that stimulates the imagination and leaves room for personal interpretation.
