Free mountain hikes
In 2023, there are no organized mountain hikes. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Give yourself an active vacation in the three mountains around Bansko!
From May to the end of October, the guests of Lucky Bansko Aparthotel have the opportunity to join the free mountain hikes.
The hikes are held every day under the guidance of qualified mountain guides.
Take a look at the hike schedule for 2022
Tourists are divided into two groups according to the level of physical training, while the hikes are divided into two major groups: easy and difficult. Free transport to the starting point of the route is provided for all participants in the hikes.
When possible and at the request of tourists, transport can be provided from the final point of the hike, in order to avoid the descent and its potential damage to the joints.
What do you need for safe hiking?
Pre-registration is not required to participate in the hikes – you are free to join as soon as you decide.
To make your experience as comfortable, complete and safe as possible, our team advises you to be equipped with:
- Comfortable hiking boots
- Warm clothes, even in the summer season
- Hat and gloves
- Sunscreen
- Windproof and waterproof jacket
- Personal luggage backpack
What is the duration of the mountain hikes?
The duration of easy mountain hikes can be between 2 and 4 hours, while the difficult ones can take between 3 and 6 hours.
